I had originally signed up to do the Letters Against Isolation, but when they said they needed more volunteers to go to the Bluffs, I was happy to help them out. We arrived around lunch time, were given a tour, and then as seniors came into the dining hall we went around to all of the tables to introduce ourselves. Some seniors didn't talk as much as others, but overall I'd say a majority of them were happy to have us. When things started to calm down a bit, my friend and I decided to sit with a woman named Mary and we were given lunch. After that, we went upstairs to host Bingo where we ran 3 games for a full room.

We volunteered at the CCHS for 2.5 hours. For the first hour and a half, I helped socialize young, five-week-old kittens. I pet them, let them explore, and climb. For the final hour, I helped wipe down kennels, walls, and cat trees in the cat room.
