Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

Had a blast helping clean litterbxes and kennels and the cat room, as well as organizatioal help and playing with the animals. Always a joy to help the CCHS

Cleaned the cat room and socialized kittens.

I wrote cards, letters, and positive encouragement quotes for letters against isolation which will be going to elderly that may be feeling lonely or down this time of year.

For this event I wrote 5 letters to seniors talking about my life, plans and experiences. I had a lot of fun decorating the cards and making them look nice, talking about what's going on with me and connecting with other volunteers.
