Helped clean up after the Heikinpaiva festival. It was fast and a good community to do it with.
I was a crossing guard by cliff drive. Overall, the experience was good and having the pep band on the route of the race was a great idea!
Brewfest 2023
For this event, I and some other brothers volunteered to serve drinks at Houghton's Brewfest. We set up for the first hour and served for the other 4 hours. Overall, the event was fun to do and I would do another event like this.
Summer Highway Cleanup
The activity began with a safety brief before we left for the highway. After about a 45-minute drive, we arrived at our section of the road. The 6 of us split up into two groups to cover both sides. at once. I was on the left-hand side with Luke and Devon. After finishing the highway, we put all the bags in one spot and returned to our cars.
Overall, it was a good experience and I would do it again when we need to attend to our highway again.
On the 24th of March, I went with Devon to the CCHS to do some dog walking. Over two hours, we walked two dogs. The first was a pitbull terrier named Pesto who was very excitable, but overall a good dog. Walking him at times was a bit difficult. The second dog we walked was an Akita name Kiki. She was an older dog and was super sweet to walk. Compared to Pesto, she walked well. Overall, it was a great experience and I would do it again.
Over the course of an hour and a half (1:00 PM to 2:30 PM), I began by breaking up the ice to put down the wooden palettes. This took about an hour. After I finished this, I began chopping wood and did this for about a half hour. I put my chopped wood away.
