About
Every fall the Student Leadership and Involvement office hosts "Make a Difference Day," the largest national day of community service, in which students, faculty, and staff come together to serve our community. This year's event will take place on Saturday, October 17th.
Volunteer projects will vary based on the needs of local agencies and community members. Painting, weeding, planting, digging, raking, cleaning, organizing, and moving are all likely projects that we have seen in the past.
Check-in will occur from 8:30 - 9:00 AM in the Commons on the ground floor of the MUB for all registrants. Information packets will be be distributed and from there, groups will travel to service locations. Projects may require that groups drive to their location.
Volunteer registration closes Sunday, October 11th at 11:59 PM.
PLEASE NOTE: Each member of your organization/group must register individually for Make a Difference Day.
This event is open to MTU students, faculty and staff.
