If you answered "yes!" to any of those questions, then volunteering with Gentiva Hospice is the adventure you're looking for!
As a hospice volunteer, you'll have the chance to make a real impact in the lives of patients and families during their most vulnerable moments. Whether you're offering a helping hand, running errands, or listening to stories; our volunteers provide the companionship and socialization that hospice patients cherish during their time with us.
No medical experience? No problem, we'll will train you! You'll gain valuable experience in healthcare while building connections and creating a sense of purpose that's hard to find anywhere else.

Requirement Details
Pending approval, volunteers will be expected to complete the following:
- Background Check,
- Drug Test (we do not test for marijuana,)
- TB Test,
- Organizationally Specific Hospice Training.
Ability to acquire a CPR certification from an accredited source, like American Heart of Red Cross, required before or during volunteer onboarding.
Ages 16+ are welcome and encouraged, they will require parent permission to volunteer.
