Volunteered at the Blood Drive at the Rozsa Center.
Shoveling snow off of roofs!
I volunteered to help Marathon Petroleum Corporation with their Girl Scout STEM Day event for the whole day. I had the chance to help Girl Scouts become involved in STEM and thought it was a great opportunity to meet others in the company.
I worked with the Galveston Bay Foundation to help plant marsh grass on the gulf coast to prevent the erosion of their wetlands. I really enjoyed the event and got to work with great people to make a difference.
I volunteered at the Galveston bay animal resource center to walk dogs. I went for a couple weekends and had the chance walk a lot of great dogs that were in need of some TLC.
It was great, we helped racers make sure they had all the necessary supplies and helped handled the dogs at the starting line.
I gave blood at the Rosza Blood Drive and was a good service opportunity.
We shovelled snow off of the wood piles and then chopped the uncovered wood for Little Brothers of the Elderly.
