Yesterday, I got the opportunity to go serve at the Central Austin SPCA! I worked with the dogs by cleaning their kennels, walking them, and cleaning their toys/bowls.
This past weekend, some of my YoungLife kids, co-leaders, and I went back to Lonehollow to go participate on the Work Crew! For this position, we got the opportunity to serve the campers and clean up the dining halls to ensure that the campers were treated with love and have a great experience!
This Monday, myself and the leader team threw a large Thanksgiving Feast for our Travis HS kids and their families! We had the opportunity to introduce ourselves to the families, serve them food, and tell our stories to grow our partnership with them!
This past weekend, our leadership team took some kids to Polar Bear in our new camp at Lonehollow! Polar Bear is a camping experience where we take high school kids from multiple areas in the winter, and we have a great time getting away from our daily lives to grow through conversation and solitude!
On this past Monday, the kids didn't have school! We picked all the kids up from their homes, brought them to club for a good time, fed them, and returned them home to end their day off!
This Monday for Young Life, we got together w/ Crockett High School to do Club! Had a great time with the leaders & kids of Crockett high school by playing games, listening to music, and had one of our team leaders give a talk about Jesus Christ!
This Monday for Young Life Club, we hosted Spooky Club! We played games, sang song, and a leader from our team spoke to the high school kids about Jesus' love!
This Monday, I had the chance to help setup a large fundraising event for Young Life called Trivia Night! Myself and other leaders in the Central Austin area setup multiple parts of the event at the Texas Federal of Women's Clubs Headquarters.
This week for Young Life Club, we had our very own Travis HS 3v3 Basketball Tourney! Afterwards, we gathered together to talk about passion of Christ, and how it's a way for personal development in following Christ.
