Over the past two weeks I did two AWIM (A world in motion) class sessions. I assisted 7th graders with building and testing a water cell powered car.
Spent the time cutting and stacking firewood for Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly.
Helped cut hole for polar plunge, as well as set up and cleanup of event.
Cut and stacked wood for future use.
Over the past month I have volunteered at Houghton Middle school working with their World in Motion project. We built a clean energy car, tested it, and presented at the end. It was a very fun opportunity to help local students get engaged and learn.
Shoveled snow to uncover the wood piles. Also cut and stacked wood.
