Every fall the Student Leadership and Involvement office hosts "Make a Difference Day," the largest national day of community service, in which students, faculty, and staff come together to serve our community. This year's event will take place on Saturday, October 28th. Volunteer projects will vary based on the needs of local agencies and community members. Painting, weeding, planting, digging, raking, cleaning, organizing, and moving are all likely projects that we have seen in the past. Check-in will occur from 8:30 - 9:00 AM in the Commons on the ground floor of the MUB for all registrants. Information packets will be be distributed and from there, groups will travel to service locations. Projects may require that groups drive to their location.
PLEASE NOTE: Each member of your organization/group must register individually for Make a Difference Day.
We have now entered our late registration period. If you missed the registration deadline and would still like to participate, please contact us for additional information. Please note that t-shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants.
