About
Career Fest Volunteer Opportunity
Join us for Michigan Tech’s Career Fest—a dynamic, outdoor recruiting event held under tents on the campus mall. Volunteers play a key role in creating a welcoming and successful experience for visiting employers and students.
Tasks may include setting up or tearing down tables, chairs, tents, and power connections, as well as assisting employers with booth setup. This is a great opportunity to gain event experience, connect with employers, and be part of one of campus’s largest annual events.
The events are held over several days:
- September 3·11:00 AM-2:00 PM
- September 9·11:00 AM-2:00 PM
- September 11·11:00 AM-2:00 PM
- September 22·11:00 AM-2:00 PM
For all shifts, please meet at or around the Career Services tent/trailer on the lawn between the MUB and MEEM. We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and clothes that can get dirty and dress for the weather. You will help employers move displays; move tables, chairs, and tablecloths; move other items as needed; and other tasks of this nature.
